The following work describes the management environmental system design (SGA) to Central de Abastos de Villavicencio C.A.V (P.H) (food-gather collection center) based upon rule NTC-ISO 14001 version 2015, taking in count procedures development in topics such as solid wastes, drinking water, energy, dumping, tidy and cleaning, insects and rodents control, gardening, management and other related to those activities that belong to this Center, where quantitative and qualitative methods were used. The methodology was done according to three phases, distributed as following; on the first hand the diagnosis about the place environment state was done through analyzing processes and activities that integrate it, as well as identifying the infrastructure, equipments and physic installations inside the company and an assessment plan focus on environment management, through an initial environment review (RAI) based on the technique Colombian guide GTC 93:2007. Additional to this, ecomapas were also developed to visualize the physical reality of the activities, an Ecobalance, MED matrix and ecoindicators from the meat refrigeration process in cellar D since it is one of the activities that most generates impacts, consumption of energy and water. From the results of these (RAI) an identification and assessment were done about the issues and environment impacts significance associated direct or indirectly with the activities, products and process of the organization.
On the second phase an environment policy was formulated, objectives and goals according to the companies context and those guidelines prescript on the Colombian technique rule NTC ISO 14001: 2015, establishing the general management commitment and its accomplishment, to control or prevent significant impacts in C.A.V. On the third and last phase, an approach to different alternatives to solve or reduce environment impacts, supported by creating six programs to management environmental were responsibilities, schedules, resources to reach them were assigned.
