Resumen
At the present, the resolution is conceived as ones of the so many contractual remedies that the creditor has to satisfy his interest against the breach of obligations that come from the contractual relationship. It is a potestative right of the unsatisfied creditor, now well not any breaches produces the resolution of the contract. In some legal ordinations as the Colombian, it is required to be serious and according to the Vienna convention it is required to be essential. Understanding this concept as a set of requirements objectively established in the same convention. As the essential breach concept allows a pragmatic determination of the resolutory breach, many countries are welcoming it and modifying its ordinations based on the principles or by the influence of the European principles.
