This project is based on qualitative descriptive research, applying the didactic unit in Physical Education designed with the topics included in the Master of Physical Activity for Health, with the aim of answering the question: What are the contributions of the didactic unit in Physical Education based on games " Ejercítate y diviertete pizarrista" to the promotion of healthy lifestyles in the students of the 603 degree of baccalaureate of the educational institution Carlos Pizarro Leongómez?
In this way, students of grade 603 of the afternoon session of the Carlos Pizarro School in the seventh city of Bogotá must be trained in healthy lifestyles, since it can be seen how the technological advance has made them be physically inactive, the environment that surrounds them does not strengthen physical activity, including school life.
In neighborhoods around the town there are no sports centers that allow young people to do any physical activity continuously, although there are few parks with sports courts, and a lot of green area around the FDI, there is not enough security for parents allow them to participate in any sports activity, in addition to the wide range of electronic equipment in homes, and the very small spaces in which they live with their whole family, which reduce the need for physical activity which makes them adopt a style of sedentary life.
To carry out the didactic unit, a diagnostic survey of the characterization of students of grade 603 of the Carlos Pizarro educational institution was taken into account, by which it was concluded that the students did not perform any kind of physical activity, most of them sedentary and with bad habits of life, which make them prone to suffer chronic diseases not transmissible in the future, besides this the school environment is very hostile and insecure as it is surrounded by vacant lots that make it unsafe within the institution and outside of it, all this leads us to generate actions to improve the quality of life of these students.
This didactic unit in physical education based on games and physical activity will change the attitude of these students with respect to the class, as it has been seen in reality in Physical Education classes, what is taught day by day, the fundamentals of sports, training, training and physical tests that are not very motivating for them, it is better to plan a class to meet the needs and interests of students with the purpose of physical activity and enjoy it, as they will be very meaningful and enriching, and will help improve his habits of life and therefore his health
