The study is of a qualitative type with a descriptive character, which is based on the research-action approach, which included, in the first place, the characterization of the students and their families; second, the development of a videogame related to the topic of waste separation and third, the didactic sequence was implemented based on the designed tool. The study manages to determine that the population in question has favorable characteristics for the integration of the videogame in the learning process associated with waste management, where the good academic preparation of the parents and their availability to accompany the process stand out.
