Efecto del Covid 19 en el proceso logístico de la compañía DHL para el período 2021

Abstract

Throughout this article, it is intended to address a clear objective; to carry out an analysis of some business strategies applied by DHL, in relation to the impact of its logistics process, in the midst of global contingency. It was used a reflection and analyze methodology by the experience gained in the field during the practice carried out, addressing the main difficulties encountered and the multiple mechanisms used to manage these problems. All this as part of the great experience in the company, their ability to react and the delimitation of responsibilities with which they work in it. According to this, it was identified that the solutions were constant, such as: The use of passenger aircraft as a freighter type; DHL Medical Express, which played a vital role in the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, promotional flyers to different destinations in Latin America to boost exports and the use of new air routes, were creative and quick solutions to change. In this way it was possible to perceive that its capacity to adapt to the situations effect of the contingency was very good, and they managed to find greater advantages for air transport during this period.
