The objective of this work is to formulate a tool to support management management in CDI, aimed at translating the strategy into indicators, supported by the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) methodology. To achieve this, a work team formed by the leaders of different processes within the organization, carried out the external and internal analysis of the same to identify the current situation of their different environments. The tools used were PEST analysis, Internal Capacity Profile (PCI), Financial analysis, Porter's five forces and DOFA Matrix. The training and experience of human talent, the quality of the services provided, the cutting-edge technology used in the performance of some processes and the existence of the Clinical Research Center approved by INVIMA were found as an important strength. Notwithstanding the foregoing, its main weakness lies in its low level of market share. After knowing the current situation, the strategic framework was evaluated and a different one was formulated which served as the basis for the realization of the Balanced Scorecard in which 14 indicators were presented, distributed in the four perspectives of the BSC with its corresponding strategic objectives which will be monitored until 2020 when it is expected to achieve what is proposed in the Vision.
