This research was developed in the corporate governance of the financial group Bancolombia for the Orinoquia and Amazonia region located in Villavicencio city in Meta department. Because this is, the administrative office assigned with different lines of businesses for the whole area. That is why it is one of great importance for the financial development of the whole region and the country.
Within the studies carried out, the survey was the method used to gather information, through which was possible to identify the lacks relating to the organizational culture and corporate identity.
Based on the surveys applied as a research instrument, it was possible to recognize the organizational culture of the corporate governance for the financial group Bancolombia in the Orinoquia and Amazonia region, finding elements susceptible to improvement, as well as elements in which the financial group has strengths.
After identifying the improvement opportunities, it was designed a proposal to mitigate the identified lacks, by which it is possible to put forward a convenient solution to the lacks found.
Thus, it is important to design a plan of action in the short and medium term that allows solving the weaknesses found, thus achieving socialization and unify criteria with the entire workforce that includes this section, strengthening the business lines that are offered and that by its extension covers half of the country and therefore its impact benefits the management indicators of Bancolombia in Colombia.
