The Regional Autonomous Corporation for the Defense of the Bucaramanga Plateau (CDMB), in the subdirectorate of environmental evaluation and control, carries out actions of evaluation, control and follow-up of the activities of use of natural resources. Within the positions of the deputy directorate, is the attention of PQRS, follow up on projects that generate and manage construction and demolition waste (RCD), follow up on Environmental Compliance Reports (ICA) and follow up on channel occupation permits. . Consequently, the objective of the internship was to support the monitoring of environmental permits and licenses belonging to the subdirectorate of environmental evaluation and control of the CDMB. Where all the actions were carried out in accordance with the methodology established by the corporation in the attention and follow-up of the aforementioned activities, obtaining that the resources that are most compromised and affected within the jurisdiction of the CDMB are the soil and the water due to the poor disposal of CDW, illegal mining, construction in a protection zone and in a water ring. Regarding the follow-up visits to the reported ICAs, it was found that the activities that least comply with the environmental programs are the exploitation of gold deposits and limestone benefit and transformation projects. On the other hand, during a follow-up visit to the CDW-generating projects, it was observed that the management programs that these companies formulate and present to the Corporation do not strictly comply with the activities to be carried out. Finally, it became clear that the majority of the beneficiaries of the channel occupation permits do not comply with all the obligations and responsibilities established by the regulations.
