Resumen
This research seeks the consolidation of a methodological strategy based on the application of a pretest, a didactic proposal and a posttest in order to strengthen problem solving in tenth grade students of IE Concha Medina de Silva de Muzo, Boyacá in the subject matter classes.
The research is developed within a qualitative approach with an action-educational research and is categorized based on the levels of problem solving proposed by Varela (1996). The investigation ends with a triangulation of the information where the investigative findings are determined. The students improved their level of problem solving from the implementation of the didactic proposal described here.
