Resumen
The architectural design proposal of a scattered tourist complex for the northeastern corridor of Colombia in the department of Santander: Mesa de los Santos, Chicamocha Canyon and the Ortices lagoon. It emerged in the Seedbed Barrio Comunidad de Desarrollo, from the characterization of certain determinants such as the specific context, the study of the tourist corridors and their offer, which allowed the strategic definition of the aforementioned locations. With the data obtained, the potential users who transit the corridor by age ranges, occupations
and groups were determined. Based on the information from the context, the basic principles of local vernacular architecture were identified that were implemented in the design from a contemporary perspective to give it a character from the typological analysis of different rural hotel options in order to identify the formal and functional components of the most coherent typologies for the environment and the type of user of each location to generate the architectural program with rest areas, services and complementary activities according to the type of tourism of each location.
