Trade is an activity that man has carried out since its origins with the fundamental purpose of satisfying his needs, this is reflected in the moment that he exchanges the surpluses of his production for other goods that he does not have and believes necessary.
With the passage of time, the negotiation model and the type of benefit that trade represented, went from a stage where it was only intended to have better goods for personal well-being. to one where a way was found to generate wealth.
Wealth was given by the land and the accumulation of precious materials that were obtained from trade between nations or mining. At the moment that commerce arises, wealth begins to be generated in commercial fairs, led by the artisan unions1 who controlled economic activity.
On the other hand, the increase in transactions and the need to have an easy and secure payment method that also allows equity at the time of exchange, gave rise to different types of currency, which up to now have been evolving with the same purpose.
This is how the form of marketing has also undergone a transition over the years. The economic opening processes of the countries have opened the possibility of discovering products brought from abroad and have forced in a certain way the producers of goods and services to modernize their processes to improve the value for money.
These medieval transactions were transformed into small and large-scale import processes, which have become an engine of the countries' economies. Over time, products of different qualities have been imported to meet the needs of very specific audiences.
