Currently, cocoa is one of the most important crops for commercial purposes in several economies worldwide. Colombia was cataloged by The International Cocoa Organization - ICCO as producer of genetic material identified as fine aroma and flavor; The country has a large number of farmers and business units dedicated to this economic sector that become opportunities for learning and national momentum.
The export of cocoa has always been representative of the economic development of the country and today Colombia is changing its way of doing business, which consists of expanding its exportable offer with finished products with differentiating characteristics that allow it to be competitive in the international market.
With this project the projection is sought not of cocoa as raw material for export but of a final product with added value such as Premium chocolate bars filled to 60%. Each bar has a weight of 80 grams, the primary packaging consists of a metalized bag that protects the product from light, moisture and odors, the second packaging is a cardboard box per unit, it will be sold in a box of 36 units.
To analyze the behavior of the product in the different international markets databases were used that helped the investigation, such as: Trade Map, Colombia Trade, which allowed the analysis of variables for the identification of the countries and identify the country with the highest potential as an objective market.
