        Resumen
Accidents are the second leading cause of violent death in the country, after homicides, and Bogotá is characterized as the city that generates the highest number of road accidents in Colombia, with 377 deaths and 12,870 injuries in 2020 (District Mobility Secretariat , 2020). The objective of this project is to characterize the inappropriate behavior of bicyclists and motorcyclists, in two of the points with the highest accident rate in the city, characterizing traffic variables, signaling, infrastructure aspects and behaviors of the road actors that present a greater growth. in accident rates in the country. This research was developed with the accident data that involved bicycle users and motorcyclists, which occurred during the years 2016 and 2019. Through exploratory analysis of spatial data, autocorrelation indices and geographic information systems, two of the points were determined where shows a large number of road accidents for this population group. Using the attribute of severity of the accident for the development of the procedure, as a result it was possible to show that the majority of traffic accident points that have a high autocorrelation are located in the southern zone of Bogotá DC, locating the first of them in the town of Bosa and the second in the town of Kennedy. Once the points were identified, the field information was collected by installing two cameras at each intersection, which recorded the data for a period of 15 continuous hours, from 5 am to 8 pm, providing sufficient material to identify and analyze the signaling conditions, the state of the road network and the number of characteristic behaviors of bicyclists and motorcyclists, evidencing that the two intersections under study do not have vertical signaling, demarcation of pedestrian crossings, pavement edge lines, demarcation of bike path and bike path, blocking restriction lines at intersections; the infrastructure shows damage such as cracks, potholes, longitudinal and transverse fissures, patching and unevenness in the manhole covers; The characteristic inappropriate behaviors at the selected points are crossing the red light, traveling against the road, making prohibited crossings, waiting for the traffic light to change in inappropriate places and the traffic of motorcycles on the platforms, thus generating a greater risk for all. road actors.
