Resumen
Permaquaponics or combination of aquaponic systems (production of fish and vegetables without soil through water) and permaculture (generate communities capable of producing and fulfilling their needs, without exceeding natural resources or polluting, that is, sustainable in the long term). term).
After the brief description of Permaquaponics; what was raised in this investigation; It leads to presenting an alternative for urban agro-sustainable production in some members of the community of the "La Madrid" neighborhood of the city of Villavicencio, and in this way provide them with agricultural techniques; that allows them to generate their own food and income; without affecting the ecosystem or nearby water sources.
In accordance with the previous paragraph; These are the three objectives proposed for the development of the research and subsequent analysis of the proposed results: Design a permaquaponic model that fits the family conditions of the Madrid neighborhood of the municipality of Villavicencio, establish if the permaquaponic model is viable within the family farming system and demonstrate that the permaquaponic model is viable and sustainable, applied to three family nuclei of the Madrid neighborhood in the municipality of Villavicencio.
At the same time, the focus of the research is qualitative, since an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages is carried out; between traditional agricultural production versus the proposal through Permaquoponics.
Among the results obtained, it was possible to sow: coriander, arazá, paprika, lemon, oranges, tangerines and tomatoes. In addition, fish farming of red tilapia and poultry with chickens.
