Resumen
The seismic analysis in the structures is of great importance, since it allows establishing parameters and construction processes that guarantee safety when a telluric movement occurs, this in order to understand the response mode of the structure to seismic action, facilitating the identification of its vulnerability.
The following work aims for the Surinama neighborhood, to determine the seismic vulnerability index for the buildings of the Surinama neighborhood located in the city of Tunja that correspond to the unreinforced masonry structural system through the
Benedetti seismic vulnerability index method and Petrini.
In order to analyze and determine the possible damages or injuries present in the structures, as an initial process, the number of properties was verified through the Tunja geographic information system (tusig), so that preliminary information on the number of
structures to be obtained can be obtained. Study, immediately after this we use the web tool Google Maps which allows us to characterize and establish the state of the homes,
in the same way a visit to the neighborhood is made to verify the information obtained by Google Maps.
With the data obtained in the study, it is intended to create a database in Excel and thus establish the degree of seismic vulnerability, present in the structures of the area, in this way to have more exact information about the physical-spatial conditions of the structures.
