General Objective: To determine the clinical judgment of students from seventh to tenth semester of dentistry to perform exodoncia in their patients. Method: A questionnaire was designed with the purpose of identifying the decisions of treatment of exodoncia in students of dentistry. Population and sample: Students from seventh to tenth semester of the faculty d of dentistry Universidad Santo Tomás (234). Results: When analyzing the level of knowledge regarding the decision to perform an exodonance of the seventh to tenth semester students of the faculty of dentistry of the Santo Tomás University of Bucaramanga, the results show that 156 people (78.39%) of The students show an average level of knowledge, followed by 43 people (21.61%) of students with a high level of knowledge. Conclusions. When analyzing the factors that can influence the development of the level of knowledge of the students of the faculty of dentistry versus the decision making in a treatment of dental exodoncia, no evidence by gender is shown. In relation to the semester, it is concluded that the semester where the level of knowledge is high is 26.6% of the students of the seventh semester, however the level of average knowledge stands out in all the semesters.
