Plan estratégico para el desarrollo sostenible de la minería del oro en Colombia

Abstract

This work seeks to design and propose a strategic plan that allows the sustainable development of gold mining in Colombia, with the main purpose of becoming a guideline for stakeholders to improve the situation currently exhibited by this sector of the Colombian economy. The construction of the plan considers a baseline of the theme at a global and regional level, as well as the diagnosis of gold mining in the country, in economic, social, and environmental terms. In addition, the stages of the mining life cycle and some components (concepts, principles, pillars, strategies and responsibles) are taken into account, together with their management through the use of the PDCA cycle.
