Recorridos y nuevas alternativas de la cooperación internacional en Colombia 2002 – 2012

Abstract

The present research analyzes the role of Colombia over the last governments, in terms of international cooperation, and aims to compare it with the role of Brazil, in the same context, to identify some elements of the Brazilian experience that can be applied by the Colombian government. Undoubtedly, Colombia has used the support of the other countries, to carry out plans to strengthen the economy sector and the security sector, but to date, the social sector has been so neglected, that the State has not been aware, that by investing more in the social sector, this could become an important basis to progress and an important development for the country.
