This research aims to understand the narratives built around relationships in people living with HIV in Villavicencio; For the development of this research, three people diagnosed with HIV are involved. This study is of qualitative nature, using as a method a narrative design, making use of conversational scenarios as a strategy for collecting information, which favors a space for the recognition and deconstruction of dominant narratives and the emergence of alternate narratives. Likewise, the categorical analysis matrix was used to interpret the information received. As a finding, the importance of new ways of knowing the phenomenon is identified from a perspective that allows us to account for the forms of relationship that exist between people living with this diagnosis and the other systems in interaction. Likewise, the lack of humanism by the professional of psychology and its role in the education and accompaniment of the person from the first moment of knowing their serological status and throughout the process that is necessary is made visible. As conclusions were found dominant narratives configured in a language of pain, loss and fear of the establishment of new partners, likewise, the conversational scenario allowed the deconstruction of these stories favoring the emergence of alternate narratives thus generating new understandings of how it was I understand the diagnosis and the possibility of forming HIV-positive relationships, on the other hand, the participants expressed feeling relieved and hopeful when sharing their stories with other people.
