Abstract
Violence has been one of the main triggers in the construction of society in the Colombian territory due to the events that have marked a collective thought in each person of today's society. One of the most affected sectors in this territory is the municipality of Puerto Berrio, this is one of the most marked in the armed conflict, creating a characteristic identity against the past, in order to appease the desire for reconciliation between what was once the port of Antioquia in front of the Magdalena River.
The armed conflict has generated in our country the progressive loss of citizen identity, has generated environmental and territorial contamination, which in times of memory were of great impact in Colombia. Through this project, the museum of memory Atarraya is intended to project cultural scenarios that rescue the memory, life and history of the Magdalena Medio, through a pier and cultural museum that represents the three characteristic moments of this municipality: The golden age of this municipality, the armed conflict and the present in the post-conflict.
The thesis was carried out through an architectural project methodology, with an ideation process that responds to the research and a form of representation of architecture. The final result was a symbolic and memorial architectural project with a high historical and social impact.
