dc.description.abstractAn observational cross-sectional study was carried out, the sample was composed of 180 participants who were selected through a multistage probabilistic sampling. The information was obtained through a questionnaire self-administered version of the Spanish version EAT 26 that included demographic information. The statistical analysis involved the calculation of summary measures according to the nature of the variables. The bivariate analysis applied chi2 test and Fisher exact test for qualitative variables and Student's t-test or Wilcoxon's rank test for quantitative variables. A value of p? 0.05 was considered statistically significant. The participation was voluntary signing the informed consent. This project was subject to Resolution 08430 classified as minimum risk and was approved by the Research Committee of the University of Santo Tomás.
