It is important to highlight that emotions are not analogous in relation to decision making, since
there are external factors, previous experiences, or beliefs that the individual has lived through,
which are determining factors in consumption choices. The present work sought to determine the relationship between emotional states and the choice of nail bar specialized beauty salons in a group of women from 18 to 40 years of age in the city of Bogotá. A quantitative study was carried out, with a descriptive-correlational cross-sectional design, for which purpose an intentional sampling was used, aimed at women who have had the experience of using specialized services for nail care in this type of beings. The results showed that there is a positive correlation between the anticipated and immediate affective states and the choice of Nails Bar specialized beauty salons, specific for factors such as previous experiences, the mediation of the cognitive in the regulation of emotion and the anticipation of risks. That affect the beauty salon elections, in front of the desire of well-being that these should generate.
