“No Somos Invisibles” Construcción De Significados De Adultos Mayores De “Mi Dulce Hogar Casa Del Abuelo” Frente Al Abandono Familiar En La Ciudad De Villavicencio

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the meanings that three older adults of the Mi Dulce Hogar "La Casa del Abuelo" geriatric home have built about family abandonment in the city of Villavicencio. Therefore, the complexity paradigm along with its principles, social constructionism and the ontology of language are guides for the development of this research work. This is a qualitative study that uses hermeneutics as a methodology and in-depth interview as a research strategy. The categories proposed for this research are: Abandonment, family, meanings and old age. This research work is based on the research line of the Santo Tomás University: Family Psychology and Human Systems. Keywords: Family abandonment, abandonment, elderly, meanings.
