The research-intervention belongs to the group “Psychology, Family and Networks; to the line of research "Psychology, Human Systems and Mental Health" and was built from the macroproject "Links, ecology and networks", attached to the Master´s Degree in Clinical and Family Psychology at Santo Tomás University.
The context in which it was developed was the Psychological Care Services of Santo Tomás University and in terms of the type of Research, it corresponds to a research-intervention, contextual, reflexive, of qualitative nature, which will operate under the following principles: Reflective Experience , self-referential, hetero-referential, connectionism, transdisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity, contextuality, circularity or recursion, self-organization and coevolution, using reflexivity as a method.
For the participants, two couples were selected, one heterosexual and another couple of the same sex, who had experienced infidelity in the last year and therefore attended the Psychological Care Services of the University.
Keywords: Couple, Infidelity, Cotherapy, Complexity, Links.
The phenomenon of undergraduate work refers to the link dynamics associated with infidelity in two clinical partners attended through a systemic therapy process, in this sense, the research question that underpins this research is: How are link dynamics transformed into clinical couples who have experienced infidelity through a process of therapy carried out in the SAP-USTA Psychological Care Services?
The objective of this research was to understand how bond dynamics are transformed into a couple who has lived infidelity, through a process of therapy carried out in the SAP-USTA psychological care services. As specific objectives:
To understand how the constructions of the couple experience are developed as a dynamic system in continuous self-organization; To identify the related dynamics associated with the experience of infidelity as a couple in relation to the systems of significance and organization of rituals in the systems and generate organized interventive processes as a therapy to favor change.
The foregoing is based on the hypothesis that the system called couple emerges and is transformed according to myths, rites, beliefs and epistemes and in the face of an experience of infidelity, the dynamics linked to it are deconstructed, taking into account the influence that these systems of significance and forms of organization that are received from families of origin, significant people, lived experiences and socio-cultural constructs. It is here where the therapy proposal can contribute to the reconstruction of the system, favoring the emergence of new ways of linking.
