Idondeidad parental en el contexto jurídico y forense. Una revisión sistemática.

Abstract

This work corresponds to a systematic review on the parental suitability in the legal and forensic context with the aim of identifying its definition, psychological characteristics associated with it and the instruments and measures that are used to evaluate it. After the search in journals indexed in the databases and data indexes: Scopus, Web of Science, Science Direct, PsyARTICLES, SciELO, Redalyc and Psychology Database ProQuest, the application of the inclusion and exclusion criteria and the revision by inter judges, was obtained a total of 97 articles that were analyzed. It is concluded, among other issues, that there is no consensus on the definition and methodology used for the evaluation of parental eligibility/suitability, also, a definition of parental eligibility is provided and the main postulates on the evaluation methodology that should be employ in these cases.
