dc.description.abstractThis document shows an investigation of the worldwide and Colombia advances in the IPV6 deployment, exploring technical foundations and concepts, the aim is to define some research criteria and explore the transition mechanisms from IPV4 to IPV6 in other countries observed by RIR institutions. In other hand, shows a methodological proposal to be developed locally and find progress indicators in some country regions. Finally, conclusions and recommendations were summarized.
