Abstract

The proposal that is developed in this research project seeks, through the design of a comprehensive agricultural Center, to retake and enhance agricultural productivity within a rural environment of the municipality, providing adequate and relevant spaces for the development of agricultural activity, self-sufficiency and marketing opportunity for the municipality, in addition to proposing a product collection route, at different strategic points that will serve as a collection center.

From the boom in oil exploitation that was evidenced in different areas of the Municipality of Yopal and the Department of Casanare, this went from being an area characterized by its great potential in the agricultural and livestock sector, to being a territory completely dedicated to exploitation and extraction of hydrocarbons, which is why the rural population and both from the same municipality, as well as from neighboring municipalities, dedicated and accustomed to another type of economy, begin to move to the areas closest to these wells in search of new job opportunities offered by this oil boom.

It is hoped that through this project it was possible to use this study as an alternative solution to the problem raised, and thus be able to once again contribute to the development of the initial economic potential of the region.
