Resumen
This degree project is based on the methodological principles described below. It begins with the definition of the concept of the Metropolitan Park, its functional characteristics and the activities that can be developed through the analysis and contrast of the regulations of the cities belonging to the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga and Bogotá.Subsequently, the global area of influence is studied through the connections at the metropolitan level through main vehicular routes, the urban environment and its immediate area of influence. After the above, the geomorphological conditions of the implantation area are analyzed, as well as external environmental factors that directly affect it. Likewise, based on the study of the concepts of Landscape Architecture established by Javier Pérez Igualada (2016), the development of Stage 1 will be compositionally defined within the general proposal of the park by defining the systems of green areas, paths, places, street furniture, artificial lighting and plant material. Based on the aforementioned, the landscape work developed by the architect Carlos Ferrater in the Barcelona Botanical Park is analyzed from fractal geometry as a generating element applied to the design of landscape architecture as a way of integrating natural topography, compositional elements and development of areas of passive and active recreation activities evidenced in the Simón Bolívar Park in Bogotá and the Moravia Park in Medellín taken as a reference in the recovery of public space destined for garbage disposal. In this way, the basic components of park design and its application in different contexts are evidenced. It is in this way that it is possible to adapt and apply the compositional principles exposed by Javier Pérez Igualada in the context of the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga.
