Beneathers: Estudio de los trastornos psicológicos aplicado al desarrollo de un videojuego

Abstract

Beneathers is a 2D action platformer game in a 32 bits visual style, all of this come from taking concepts from the mental illnesses investigation, and portray them graphically, giving to them gameplay characteristics and apply them in a fictional narrative based in The Divine Comedy. The history tells about Areu, a 10 years old boy who lives with his mother and is the biggest fan of a tv superhero called "Lumiknight". One night, after some weird stuff happened, Areu will become the hero that he had always dream about and use this new superpowers to overcome the new problems and mysterys.
