The present investigation is based, in the study of the formation in values from the philosophical component in the eleventh grade students of the I. E.M. Cabrera For this it was necessary to analyze the teaching and learning practices that are implemented with this population. Likewise, the need to identify the values in which students demonstrate strength was observed.
The project was oriented under the framework of a qualitative methodology, the information was obtained by two means: the first, the observation carried out by the researcher and second, the interview conducted both to the teacher of the respective grade, and eight of these students of the degree . In this way, the results show that teaching and learning practices are guided by a didactic-philosophical methodology, which contains various methods, procedures, forms and techniques. In this way, as the name implies, they are appropriate within the process of philosophy formation; nevertheless, some adjustments can be made regarding the activities, actions and didactic materials that make it possible to develop and demonstrate the values in the students. Finally, based on the conclusions, the respective recommendations are given regarding materials, activities and strategies that can be useful in the formation of values from the philosophical component.
