Globalization as an influencer of economic, social and political relations around the world. World, has developed tools for interaction between societies, expanding space-time horizons through technological means such as social networks. Foreign trade is considered the cause and effect of globalization, by encouraging the increase of commercial activities between countries, therefore, social networks are considered an interconnection channel to expand markets, goods, products and services globally. In this context, social networks are the most used tool in the way of doing business worldwide.
Therefore, this research seeks to know the perception of entrepreneurs located in the municipality of Bucaramanga and the Bucaramanga metropolitan area regarding the use and influence of social networks as an export alternative, for this purpose, a format with multiple choice questions as a collection instrument will be implemented of data, which shows five companies that sell goods and export products located in the municipality of Bucaramanga and the metropolitan area.
