Resumen
This research project is a qualitative study of thematic type, whose objective is to strengthen the textual production of the language area through the use of ICT in the third grade of primary school, the General Santander educational headquarters of the municipality of Saravena. This process was carried out with the teacher and the 26 third grade students, consisting of eleven women and fifteen men whose ages range between 8 and 13 years. For this, an observation process was conducted to the classes, a semi-structured interview was conducted for the principal and fifteen class sessions were held whose activities were mediated by the use of ICT. The information was collected and organized through a categorical system, which resulted in the two final categories corresponding to ICT and textual production. The results of this research were prepared taking into account the methodology and evaluation of ICT, content, properties and stages of the text. Therefore, it is possible to point out the importance of teaching through the different teaching strategies that included the use of ICTs, which sought to respond to current expectations, strengthening the quality of education, facilitating the creation of an environment of education.
