Resumen
This project describes the research work carried out in the Educational Institution Buenos
Aires Las Pavas of the Municipality of Canalete, which proposes the implementation of
didactic sequences for the strengthening of reading comprehension skills at the levels of
literal interpretation and inferential of the seventh grade students of secondary basic
education. For this we rely on the theoretical foundations that are related to the teaching
of reading comprehension, among these we have the approaches of Isabel Solé (1994),
and in relation to the development of the didactic sequence we rely on Díaz Barriga
(2006), among others.
As an input for the development of the sequences was performed and applied a diagnostic
test to identify in which level of reading comprehension were students, from these results,
the design of two didactic sequences a literal and other inferential which Cordoban
regional literature was used as a strategy to enhance comprehension processes.
Subsequently, it was passed to the implementation phase and finally proceeded to the
analysis of the results, in which the improvement levels in the performance reached by
the students were evaluated. Finally, we proceeded to develop a didactic proposal in order
to apply it at the basic level.
