Abstract

This work achieves to determinate the influence that an environmental consultancy company has by providing remote sensing services by the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the department of Meta, about the economic development of the department and the service demand. First of all, we did a market research that allowed us to evince the current situation of the mentioned activity in the región. Subsequently, we identified the positive differential factor that the UAV has in the shot of aerial images as a supplier for remote sensing processes with purposes of land use and management, about the other platforms. Based on an normative and administrative analysis were identified the necessary requirements to start the business idea; Finally was determined the economic viability of the consolidation of GeoAmbienTic S.A.S. by the realization of a financial study. With the results, we could determine that indeed the Enterprise would have a great positioning level, principally because of the quality factor, time efficiency and costs; by the same way, it is suggested to focus this service in the región to the activities of land use planning, agricultura and management of river basins.
