Resumen
The history and trade of the department of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina mark territorial guidelines determined its current status. San Andrés Islands has an economic development supported by the strategic geographical location, managing to adapt commercial and tourist exchanges, these factors that allow visual and superficial progress have managed to overshadow the needs and traditions of the population, being a department affected by poverty and Unemployment.
The complexity of the problems and needs within the territory is understood, proposing culture as a dynamic of change and economic restructuring to a population and territory separated by national disinterest.
Through architecture, the implementation of dynamics of integration and correlation with Raizal activities is proposed, allowing their commercial development, adapting strategies that benefit cultural and environmental appropriation.
The understanding of the original mechanics and styles of the raizales, manages to link an architecture that respects the cultural nuances and manages to structure an innovative proposal, which emerges as the new image of San Andrés, determining spaces of integration, cultural development, landscaping, appropriation environmental and commercial dynamics implemented on the island, justified by the structuring elements of the project such as materials, connectivity and direct relationship with the water system.
