Resumen
Introduction: osseointegrated implants currently represent, without a doubt, a predictable alternative in oral rehabilitation procedures. The absence of a passive fit in the implant-prosthesis interface increases the tension and concentration in the supporting tissues, due to the intimate contact between the implant-tooth. Objective: to evaluate in vitro the loosening of fixation screws to the implant subjected to lateral forces, between different commercial houses. Materials and methods: an in vitro experimental study was carried out in which implants with internal hexagonal connection were taken into account with their respective screw-retained implant-abutment retention system, implant material in titanium with a sample of 15 internal hexagonal connection implants, divided in 3 groups, numbered from 1 to 5, they were called A, B, C. Where group A corresponds to the MIS commercial company, group B to the MICRODENT commercial company, and group C to the ADIN commercial company. Results: Loosening of the fixing screw occurred in all commercial houses at a torque of 35Nw and 40 Nw. That is, no implant with applied counter- torque less than 35 Nw presented loosening.
