Resumen
Professional sport is becoming relevant in most of the legal systems in the world, but the little jurisprudence of the courts and the little promotion of the sports company in sports other than football, has meant that Colombian laws would not have required intense regulation by the legislature since the creation of law 1445 of 2011.
Since Colombian legislation has not developed in depth the functioning of the public limited company in professional sports, compiling trends and regulations of the east in an associated way in Colombia and other countries of the world, becomes the best way to analyze if our corporate model for sport, it is the most appropriate in view of the fact that sports activity has a global character, and since it has little legal development with respect to the associated sport in our country, it is necessary to take into account the different associative models that are presented in countries with legal development in considerable sport, to determine the viability of other corporate models and if these could be applicable in our legal system.
In recent years, a bill has been processed that seeks to fill those legal gaps that the corporation has left in Colombian professional sports: A corporate model that does not limit the capabilities of the investors of the sports company, but that it achieves achieve complement the advances of the law 1445 of 2011 and that does not commit the economic and inclusion errors that occur in all jurisdictions that only develop professional sport from a mono-corporate approach.
