This paper, entitled "strategic alternatives for the competitive sustainability of the MSME "IAR PROYECTOS SAS", arises as a need in the field of management, to boost and promote business growth in the engineering consulting services company called IAR PROYECTOS SAS. In the first instance, the document will present the strategic analysis, in which the main characteristics of the different internal and external areas are defined. It starts from the organizational mission and vision in order to make a coherent alignment with the proposals that may be presented.
Then, applying the tools of strategic planning, we will proceed to identify the most convenient strategies that the company "IAR PROYECTOS SAS" will be able to use, taking into account its internal and external conditions, proposing strategies for the type of organization that develops goods and services equivalent to consulting, which allow the feasibility of projects and their conditions.
Finally, the final project presents an action plan to be followed so that the company's top management can develop the proposed method, following objectives and exercising a permanent control that allows them to interact to achieve the company's objectives. All this will be built for each area of the company in the short, medium and long term, obtaining both quantitative and qualitative evaluative results, which will benefit the development and growth of the MSME in question.
