The results of an investigation about the hashtag # yonovotolaconsultaanticorrupción are presented, with the aim of generating information on Twitter in front of the Popular Anticorruption Consultation (Colombia, 08-26-2018). Methodology: A content analysis was carried out with 33 trills, focused on the protagonists of the messages, their argumentative consistency and the most recurrent tones. The results are organized in tables and graphs. Results: The key questions of the consultation were not discussed or controversial, but rather it is about generating a negative campaign around the figure of the former Claudia López, the main leader of the Consulta. Conclusions: the analyzed messages allowed to strengthen the hypothesis of a campaign based on personal attacks and negativism, in the case that the Colombian has become a country with a weak democratic culture and very few educational policies for the critical analysis of the information.
