Resumen
The research titled "Contributions of community of inquiry in the citizen education" of the students of two Educational Institutions of Boyaca´s department aims to determine the contributions that the experience "community of inquiry", in the sense of Philosophy for Children (FpN ), has provided the citizen training and relate some theories on the classroom. With this purpose, it used a qualitative approach, based on the hermeneutic method, which allowed the students to interpret the contributions of community of inquiry to the citizen training in two pedagogical experiences in the classroom. For this, an explanation was made about community of inquiry as a methodological possibility; classrooms as communities of critical thought, creative and careful thinking and community of inquiry as a way of life.
The information collected in the interviews by each teacher was reproduced literally, then transcriptions were made individually. This work allowed the signaling of content segments, to highlight the subcategories with the chromatic technique, as well: yellow (dialogue), green (identity), critical thinking (blue) and solidarity (red).It was concluded that each community is particular and there are communities of inquiry with a diversity of nuances, in which thoughts, reflections and interactions arise where students learn to live in diversity, to think from their own benefit and the common good, to reach agreements and control the emotions, talking what they think, minimizing the aggressions and being aware of their being in the world.
