The value of respect and the virtue of self-control are very important in the social development of people, in this way we find that it is important to work on these 2 things in children because at the stage in which they are they learn more quickly. and create habits easier, in the La Gaitana neighborhood in the town of Suba, a social environment of little tolerance is identified where respect and self-control in people are lacking, through the social projection center of the Santo Tomás University in the town Suba, this intervention is very important because with the teaching of self-control and respect, children will be able to develop a better environment with the people around them such as family, school and the society in which they live. It seeks to create a recreational-sports space for children where they can develop self-control and respect through karate and its doctrine, instilling sport and physical activity in the lives of children, by choice of parents and children. children, an agreement was reached to work on the karate sport which would help in a more significant way to the problems that arise in their social environment, the hours in which these classes will be worked will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 P.M. at 4:00 PM during the process of two and a half months, a higher level of concentration is evident on the part of the children, an improvement in their level of self-control and in exercises such as combat where there is contact is also evident through meditation Among peers, positive progress is observed in children where they care for and protect their partner at all times, demonstrating compliance with the objectives set.
