Resumen
This investigation sought to characterize conceptual guidelines, research methodologies and development on the presence of generational, gender, salary and digital gaps in organization through a systematic review in database journals such as Redalyc and Scielo in order to analyze the models and the evolution of the studies in this topic. We selected 50 studies that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A checklist was used to extract data from selected studies by evaluating content aspects, publication period, location, methodology, design, and sample type. The main results, analyzed with the SPSS and SPAD, show that the gender and generational gap are the two topics of greatest approach. It is also observed that during 2005 and 2018 there was no greater variation with respect to the number of studies published. The methodology used mainly was quantitative. With respect to the conceptual definition of gap models used in the studies, it is observed that this is framed in raising the existence of differences that arise mainly from questions related to gender and generation roles, mainly, that are mediated with questions related to social context, study, access opportunities, growth, income and status.
