Resumen
This research is part of the analytical perspective oriented to the description of the historical process understood as the connections of different historical landmarks which led to the existence of the Bronx as a space of marginality. From this perspective, the aim is to point out the characteristics of a phenomenon (urban marginality) and find connections between them to generate an analytical panorama. In the present investigation, two phases will be carried out that are not mutually exclusive, nor are they carried out in a linear manner, since qualitative research is characterized by being "spiral or circular, the stages to be carried out interact with each other and do not follow a rigorous sequence. "Therefore, processes such as documentary review and fieldwork are not interrupted until the pertinent conclusions can be established. The phases are: fieldwork phase and comparative analytical phase.
