Resumen
The present study was developed in the municipality of Madrid Cundinamarca in the area of La Estancia in a strawberry cultivation farm, where due to the risk history of pesticides in the area, it was decided to apply the toxicological risk assessment methodology for health with the agricultural population of the farm and the family residing there, the pesticide evaluated has difenoconazole as an active ingredient. The TCLP methodology was implemented to determine the toxicity characteristics by leaching, additionally soil tests were performed to determine the physical-chemical characteristics of this and its relation with the movement of the pesticide through leaching columns. It was established that difenoconazole represents a high risk for toxicity for humans despite being classified as type III: not very dangerous, likewise it was established that due to the characteristics of compaction and poor drainage of soil, movement in the soil is very minimal and is not It may contaminate groundwater.
The results obtained determined a risk of 90.9 and 27.8 for the workers and the family residing there, respectively. Therefore, it was established that difenoconazole represents a high risk due to toxicity for humans, although it is classified as type III; which means that's not very dangerous. It was considered that the exposure scenario in which the pesticide is applied presents a superficial sealing, a very high soil compaction, an infiltration flow of 0.0165 ml/s and low drainage, which means the limited movement of the substances; under this scenario, the investigation considers it unlikely that a process of contamination in groundwater will develop and the possibility that the substances will be found only in the superficial layer of the soil
