Resumen
Currently, technological innovation has taken a leading role in the development of small and medium-sized companies, which contributes to business growth and competitiveness. The great changes at the national and international trade level, and the innovation challenges for SMEs, make it necessary to identify the factors that generate business growth. For this reason, the proposed research aims to analyze the relationship between the productive factors of the textile SMEs in Bogotá and business growth, based on their technological development. Theoretical benchmarks will be established, the business growth factors of SMEs will be characterized, technological factors will be compared with SME innovation, analyzing their level of dependency, and a business growth model will be proposed. Finally, it will be concluded whether the technological development of SMEs depends on their level of innovation, and whether this dependence contributes positively to business growth.
