Resumen
The term life project falls short of addressing the various factors and dynamics that are immersed when thinking about the construction of life in the future, and in this way the concept of "prospective" of life was used, which recognizes the understanding of the future and thus offers a broad and flexible view of this projection. Therefore, the present research seeks to understand the meanings that revolve around the construction of life prospective in young people in school as opposed to the interaction with the life project proposal of an educational institution of secondary education, in order to identify the stories that allow the reconstruction of this experience. To this end, the qualitative methodology was implemented in conjunction with the narrative biographical method in ninth grade young people who were accompanied in their life project by an educational institution. It was found relevant the decision making, the interaction that the school has with the life project together with its expectations and difficulties, the invisibility of aspects of the life project, the importance of processes of self-knowledge, the imaginary that one has of oneself as an adult and its possible alternative versions, important moments and significant people in the life history of the referents and the support. It was concluded that the future is reduced to a single and rigid course, therefore, desirable and/or alternate futures are not visualized and the importance of those events that mark their lives for young people to think about their future is recognized. In this way, new understandings are presented to complement and rethink the processes of accompanying the life project in school.
