dc.description.abstractToday, there have been changes in how we relate to other people, so we investigated the main motivations that people have when using dating applications such as Tinder to find a relationship, and what are the main characteristics that are fixed in the photographs of the profiles at the moment is chosen their potential partner, was used as main concept of the sociologist Catherine Hakim the "erotic capital", which is a cross-cutting term to the different types of capital proposed by Pierre Bourdieu. Discovering; - that there are differences in the photographs of men and women - that generate a series of interests predisposed to establish a romantic or sexual relationship, and it is necessary to continue addressing these issues from the academy to have a better neutral view of what happens in the with TIC and new dating applications.
