Resumen
The consumption of psychoactive substances is a phenomenon that at national level
has been guarantor of great stigmas and negative qualifications not only from society
but public policy and the action of experts who treat problematic use or addictions to
substances such as heroin have been controversial, because the same treatments have
largely been linked to characters from the perception of the therapist or institution,
these processes of stigmatization in health can greatly affect recovery processes often
translated into self-stigmatization or even exacerbations of their condition as drug
addicts.
The purpose of the present investigation is to unveil the stigmas of the heroin
dependency treating experts from different areas (therapeutic and strategic) and to
estimate how these processes of stigmatization affect the treatment of the population
described as heroin.
