This research proposes a questioning related to the construction of meaning around a
woman's voice actresses from the relations established along his life and theater as a possible
means to draw attention to different social realities based on theoretical reference points of social
constructionism proposed by Kenneth Gergen. Thus the general objective of the research is to
understand the constructions of the meanings of being a woman, from the narratives of two
actresses theater in the city of Bogotá, and whose objectives are firstly to identify the meanings
around woman to be related to the different stages of the life cycle, secondly, describe the
relationships in which the meanings of being a woman are constructed from the life story of the
protagonists of research and finally recognize the participation of the theater building meaning
around a woman as part of the visibility of social realities. The research actors were two actresses
of theater in the city of Bogotá, who through the biographical method from life stories, in-depth
interview as a technique and as a strategy ushered ―Caminhando‖. In this way the results obtained
from the meanings are understood in relation to being women throughout of the life cycle in the
second aspect, the relations of meaning and construction and finally, recognition of theater as a
tool for the visualization of realities in various orders.
