dc.description.abstractConstruction projects in the Colombian environment are often limited by multiple errors that are made, one of them is in the design phase and sustainability that is not yet properly implemented in the project, which is a problem in the process of construction. construction, causing cost overruns and schedule delays. These factors make construction an uncompetitive industry in the country. The construction method is based on certain programs that are not sufficient or do not meet all needs, with 2D drawings and budget gaps. To increase and improve productivity in a work design and budgeting, the implementation of the BIM methodology is carried out. It is a project information management system based on 3D models and studies carried out on all the information, which comes from a three-dimensional model where costs, sustainability, maintenance and control of all project information documents are generated. This method is compatible with many BIM softwares, which fulfill the function of managing the collaborative design process. For this analysis, considered one of the professional software that is specialized in structural calculations and administrative management, we use Revit, since it is a software specialized in the management of 3D models, project designs, breadboards and annotations.
